The KF-255-BK internal rack is an excellent space-spacing solution that fits perfectly into your PC. You won’t need to deal with more messy external cables and power adapters on your desk space. One major concern for most users in buying an internal drive rack is how difficult or easy it is to install the rack. Installing the KF-255-BK is very easy, straightforward, and you only need to do it one time. Just remove the computer casing side cover and pull out one of the front bay covers. Carefully insert the KF-255-BK rack into the bay and push forward until the screw holes of the rack and drive bay slot are both aligned. Secure the screws on both sides of the rack. Finally, connect the SATA data cable and SATA power cable (or the Molex 4-pin power cable) to the back of the KF-255-BK rack. And the KF-255-BK rack is now ready to use!

The KF-255-BK rack is versatile and super easy to use. The tray-less design supports both 3.5” and 2.5” SATA bare drives without the need for installing inconvenient drive mounting kits. You simply insert your 3.5” SATA HDD into the sliding door of the rack with the SATA connectors facing in. If you have a 2.5” SATA HDD or SSD, you insert the drive into the lower right opening of the front panel that fits perfectly. Gently push the drive forward until the SATA pin connectors are attached to the internal SATA drive port of the rack. You are now ready to access your SATA drive. Because the KF-255-BK supports SATA hot-swap capability, you don’t need to do any settings on your computer and your SATA drive will be automatically detected. You get true SATA performance and better compatibility! Simply pull-out the drive if you want to remove the drive from the rack.
